First Fridays on Fourth Street is back — and Matt Hill and the Classics are taking the main stage. Steubenville's downtown comes alive for the Harmonium Project's beloved street celebration, and this set is one you won't want to miss.

Catching Matt Hill and the Classics at a free street festival is a rare treat. An award-winning, Best of The Bash–winning variety band, they're the go-to act for Fortune 500 companies and private celebrations at the region's most exclusive rooms — from the Duquesne Club to St. Clair Country Club. Their sound spans jazz, New Orleans swing, blues, soul, R&B, and party classics, with bandleader Matt Hill — who's shared the stage with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artists The Impressions and Little Anthony — reading the crowd and keeping Fourth Street moving.

Join us for our regular monthly swing dance, held every 2nd Thursday of the month, featuring live jazz, great dancing, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Enjoy a full evening of live music with Matt Hill & The Classics, plus dance instruction included with admission. Whether you’re an experienced dancer or stepping onto the floor for the first time, our friendly instructors will help you feel comfortable and keep things moving.

Admission includes everything — live jazz, dance instruction, and plenty of room to have fun. Come for the music, stay for the dancing, and make a night of it.

This is our fourth year bringing the sound and celebration of New Orleans to the Bridge Tavern, and it’s always a sell-out show. Lively music, great food, and a packed room make this one of our favorite nights of the year.

Matt Hill and The Classics are thrilled to be part of Jazz at the Stifel! Mark your calendar and grab your tickets for February 13th 2027! Some of the region’s top jazz artists perform at the Stifel Fine Arts Center on select Saturdays throughout the year. Crowd-pleasing performers, expert showman and award-winning song stylists entertain crowds in the elegant, yet intimate, splendor of one of Wheeling’s grand properties.

The 100-year-old Edemar Mansion (now known as the Stifel Fine Arts Center) is the former home of one of Wheeling’s most prominent families and is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

While enjoying a selection of desserts and wines that are available for purchase at all shows, marvel at the stained glass windows, grand central staircase, marble floors and the majestic fireplace in the formal living room.
