Matt Hill & The Classics return to one of the Pittsburgh area's most storied rooms for another Friday night of live jazz and swing. Built in the 1890s as a rest stop for Ohio River travelers and later a gathering place for Pittsburgh's industrial elite, The Hotel has been a Sewickley landmark for over a century. Today it's an Americana-themed tavern run by restaurateur Robin Fernandez, serving comfort food cooked on a wood-burning stove alongside hand-crafted cocktails, bourbons, and an outdoor Tex-Mex cantina.

Grab a table, order the brisket burger, and settle in for three hours of live music in a room that was made for it. No cover charge — just great food, good drinks, and a band that knows how to make a Friday night feel right.

Join us for our regular monthly swing dance, held every 2nd Thursday of the month, featuring live jazz, great dancing, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Enjoy a full evening of live music with Matt Hill & The Classics, plus dance instruction included with admission. Whether you’re an experienced dancer or stepping onto the floor for the first time, our friendly instructors will help you feel comfortable and keep things moving.

Admission includes everything — live jazz, dance instruction, and plenty of room to have fun. Come for the music, stay for the dancing, and make a night of it.

This is our fourth year bringing the sound and celebration of New Orleans to the Bridge Tavern, and it’s always a sell-out show. Lively music, great food, and a packed room make this one of our favorite nights of the year.

Matt Hill and The Classics are thrilled to be part of Jazz at the Stifel! Mark your calendar and grab your tickets for February 13th 2027! Some of the region’s top jazz artists perform at the Stifel Fine Arts Center on select Saturdays throughout the year. Crowd-pleasing performers, expert showman and award-winning song stylists entertain crowds in the elegant, yet intimate, splendor of one of Wheeling’s grand properties.

The 100-year-old Edemar Mansion (now known as the Stifel Fine Arts Center) is the former home of one of Wheeling’s most prominent families and is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

While enjoying a selection of desserts and wines that are available for purchase at all shows, marvel at the stained glass windows, grand central staircase, marble floors and the majestic fireplace in the formal living room.
