Great entertainers. Professional, fun, and excellent musicians. I highly recommend Matt and Friends.

Matt and I texted and talked by phone several times. He was so flexible as to times, number of players and songs. I am so grateful for his flexibility to a fluid wedding reception. In the end it was perfect! The songs played. the 5pc. band were amazing. The guests were delighted as to the sound and music selection! I would 100% recommend these wonderful Jazz musicians to any event! Thanks Matt & Friends! Joe

 Professional, Price, Reliable- Wedding ready!

We hired Matt Hill and Friends for our 2 hours at our wedding reception. It was a Gatsby/ 20’s theme so we were so excited to find these guys! They flawlessly played into our timeline which was broken up between them and the DJ / cocktail hour & our wedding blessing. Matt was easy to get ahold of, communicative, professional and fun! They even brought an extra player with them- so instead of a trio it was a quad of great performers. We would have loved to have them for longer but balanced them out cost wise with the DJ for the rest of our night. Either way they provided a great service and performance at a good rate! We were satisfied and would definitely book them again if the need arises.

Matt and Friends provided a very memorable night of classic jazz and blues music for a special wedding anniversary celebration. They are an excellent and very professional ensemble and my guests loved the set they chose which included terrific renditions of Benny Golson and Miles Davis jazz classics. If you seek great jazz music for your special event, Matt and Friends should top your list of must haves.

Matt Hill and Friends performed Amazing Grace and a Jazz Sendoff for my father's Memorial and Life Celebration at the Grand Concourse. They were perfect: professional, timely, fabulous pre-event communication, and gave an exceptional performance. My father played in his HS jazz band and loved attending the Pgh. Jazz festivals. Matt Hill and Friends helped us choose appropriate music my dad would have loved. Just about everyone asked me for their info. after the remembrance.

We really enjoyed having Matt and company play our wedding's cocktail hour and dinner time. In the 2.5 hours we had them, they did a great job playing relaxing classics, mixed with a more uptempo, dance-ready songs as dinner was closing, and it worked perfectly as we transitioned into DJ music for the remainder of the evening.

They're talented musicians, to be sure, but we also appreciated the way they struck a great balance between engaging the crowd / getting people into the event without necessarily overshadowing things. We were beyond happy and recommend them highly for whatever event you may be planning!

Matt Hill and Friends performed at our daughter's wedding. They performed 2nd Line New Orleans music at the end of the ceremony. The Bridal couple led the band out into the receiving area and then played inside the venue during cocktail hour. They were excellent! This component was new to our guests and we received so many positive comments! We must say this was a unique experience for us and our guests! Thank you Matt Hill and Friends!

I contacted Matt with admittedly late notice about my plan have him perform for a surprise proposal for my girlfriend and I. He and his guitarist (Joe) handled every single request with ease and great communication and were able to play a few jazz songs for us in a park as I proposed to my girlfriend, now fiancé. That night will be a memory we will cherish forever and it’s all thanks to these guys!

We were highly impressed with Matt Hill and Friends who performed live music for our wedding reception in Pittsburgh, PA! Matt was very easy to work with, replied to my messages promptly, and was very accommodating of the specific songs we requested, even on short notice. Matt Hill and Friends not only performed the specific songs and artists we requested, but also provided a great variety of music for all ages and tastes including jazz, rock and roll, pop, and country! They even checked in with us throughout the evening to make sure the volume of the music was just right! We received numerous compliments about Matt Hill and Friends from our family and friends who attended our wedding! We highly recommend Matt Hill and Friends for weddings and other special events and would most definitely book them again!
